Download Instagram Photos
Open the post, copy its link, paste it into the box and press Download. Photos are saved as JPG, generally up to 1080 pixels wide, which is the largest size Instagram serves. If you need a smaller file for email or a website, resize it afterwards with our image resizer.
Download Instagram Videos and Reels
Videos and Reels are saved as MP4 with audio. Copy the link from the Share menu, paste it and download. Large files may be easier to manage if you check their size first using the file size converter.
Download Instagram Stories
Stories vanish after 24 hours. Paste a link in the form instagram.com/stories/username/ and the tool lists the public stories currently available for that account, as photos or videos. Stories from private accounts cannot be fetched.
Download Carousel Posts
Carousels contain up to twenty slides. Each slide appears as its own row with a Save button, and Download all saves them one after another. Your browser may ask permission to download multiple files; allow it.
Saving on iPhone
Tap Save, then use the share sheet to choose Save to Photos or Save to Files.
Saving on Android and desktop
Files go to your Downloads folder. On Android, open Files or Gallery and move the item wherever you like.

Is It Safe?
We never ask for your username or password and the page works over HTTPS. Your link is sent to a media-lookup service only to find the file, and your recent-links list stays in your own browser storage, which you can wipe with Clear history or Reset. As with any online tool, avoid sites that ask you to log in to Instagram.
Is It Legal to Download Instagram Content?
Saving a public post for personal offline viewing is generally tolerated, but the content still belongs to its creator. Re-uploading, selling or using it commercially without permission can breach copyright and Instagram’s terms. Troubleshooting
- No media found: the account is private, the post was deleted, or the link is cut off.
- Link rejected: it must contain instagram.com. Share links from the app work fine.
- Save opens a new tab instead: some files cannot be saved directly by the browser. Press and hold the video or image, then choose Save.
- Still stuck: press Reset, copy the link again and retry.
